| Before I began painting, I wasn't fond of insects, and especially not spiders. But when I decided to take a better look at everything around me I noticed the smallest creatures first. Insects are amazing - they have no bones but some can bear five times their own body weight. They are small but are willing to challenge something hundreds of times their own size. In a world so large they can travel as fast as we can on foot, and even faster for those with wings. There are more species of insects and spiders than there are any other specie and they number twice that of the human population. I looked at them closely and discovered how beautiful they really are. Enjoy them for they are a part of this world.
