| Art is all around us, we just have to find it. I’ve always been mystified by the art spiders produce. They can make perfect circles and designs with strands of thread thinner than a human hair. I’ve seen webs that require a magnifying glass, and some taller than I am! The strands can loop and hang like banners or be as taut as wire – some are just as strong. I’ve even seen webs built in 3D shapes! Spiders are amazing creatures, knowing from hatching how to make such wonderful art. They have the wits the intelligence to make the most of their gift, and they never cease to amaze me. |
