Pippin and Angels fantasy acrylic cat painting
Angels are a special kind of being; they mean different things to different people. In some ways, they are real…you
just can’t see their wings. Pippin, a black and white tuxedo cat, is best friends with a girl named Bree. Bree is autistic,
and so is he. They are inseparable and two peas in a pod. They know no evil and love the world for all its value.
Bree has always adored cats and, as an avid drawer, she also likes drawing angels cats. Her fascination didn’t start
until another beloved cat passed, and her mother explained that it was probably an angel now. A children’s book
about an angel cat, the musical “Cats” and the song “Jellicle Cats” (which is sung as “angelical cats” by her) made
her even more inspired. Pippin and Bree couldn’t be any closer. Pippin is older now though, and it’s hard to tell
when the inseparable duo will part. But one thing is for sure; even when Pippin goes to that great hill in the sky, he
won’t be alone. And he’ll do his very best to remain by Bree’s side, even if she doesn’t know it.

The angels surrounding Pippin are based off real cats. Around from bottom left and up is: Nala, Eureka,
Simba,
Whitefeet, Chloe, Zoe, Cornflower, Buddy,
Furby, and Poomba
