| This painting was inspired by the theme of friendship. The two talkative hens face each other with a friendly gaze, as if sharing their secrets to each other. They make the shape of a heart with their bodies and they seem to glow with the sunrise light behind them. I know how tight the bonds of friendship are. I have a sister named Amber, just a year younger than me, and we are inseparable. We enjoy every minute together and we can't stand to be apart. Even though I create art and she’s an author, we still help each other. Amber critiques my work and tells her thoughts openly, while I edit her novels and do the same. There are just some bonds that can't be thoroughly described by words, whether it’s between siblings, friends, couples, and beyond. So if a picture is worth a thousand words, do I have to say anything at all? |
