Tales are told of the monk, Rahib, and his trusty frog steed, Kuda, visiting lands beyond your wildest dreams in search of something fantastical. Their legend travels far and wide, even farther than they have ever gone themselves.

This is a handmade, one-of-a-kind gourd sculpture made from a warty "egg" gourd, wire, and epoxy clay. Kuda (frog) is hand sculpted from his toes to his nose, complete with custom made glass eyes. Rahib (monk) is made from wire and epoxy clay and stands 2 inches tall. Both are painted with acrylics and sealed with a water-resistant sealer. ****NOT FOR OUTSIDE DISPLAY*** Finished with braided black cord on the clay sculpted saddle.

Gourd frog #187 is the traveling duo of Rahib and Kuda. Kuda resembles the real frog species, the American Green Toad. Whether he is larger than life or Rahib is super tiny, that's up to you to decide! What tales of the traveling duo could be spinning as they hop along on their next adventure? This sculpture measures 5" tall, 6" wide, and 6" long.

Each sculpture I make is hand signed, dated, and specially numbered. No two are alike!
