Hiding amongst the decorative bushes, an anole rests.

This pen&ink artworkwas inspired by a real lizard I spotted by my front porch. On warm summer nights the casual reptiles will lay on the branches as if the foliage were a hammock. If you're quiet you can watch them doze off, very comfortable in their swaying bed.
"Anole Loafer" is made with archival micron ink on thick matteboard. It's framed on a crimson matte under glass and the back is sealed with cardboard paper. The wood frame is thick and layered, colored black with cream edges. The artwork has a wire for hanging and hardware is included.
