Birds
Elegant and beautiful, birds are wonderful creatures to sculpt. Iconic and symbolic of freedom and peace, I find joy in the details of creating them.
Each bird sculpture is made from multiple gourds with added wire, paperclay, epoxy clay, and various other materials. They are one-of-a-kind and no two are ever alike. I've made all species from songbirds, to waterfowl, and majestic predatory birds. Click the images to see more information on each piece.
