This is a handmade, one-of-a-kind gourd sculpture. It's made from 3 gourds forming the shell, neck and head as its armature. It's encased in epoxy clay with hand sculpted details from tail to nose. The eyes are hand painted acrylic cabochons (glow in the dark.) They're painted with acrylics and sealed with a water resistant acrylic spray sealer. ***Not for outdoor display***

Gourd Turtle #HR23 is "Brucie" the baby eastern box turtle. He's a shy little guy, but he also wants to make new friends. He's peeked out of his shell to get a look around. Be gentle with him and he'll be a lifelong friend! This sculpture measures 3" tall, 4" wide, and 6.5" long.
