This was where they belonged. Atleast, they thought they did. That’s strange – something changed. Was there less green before? They couldn’t quite put their fin on it. Part of them thought they were out of place but those trickle of thoughts drained away quickly. This place was nice. The trees whispered ‘adapt and survive’ on the wind and it felt right. Any worry washed away into blissful happiness. Whatever changed, they were okay with it.

"Fish in a Forest" is a handmade, one of kind sculpture. It's made of a big canteen gourd, wire, paperclay and epoxy clay sculpting, seed pod spines, resin, plastic, custom glass eyes, and hand painted with acrylics. Large cedar wood base. It has an embedded serpentine stone. It's sealed with a water-resistant sealer but DO NOT expose to the elements. Not for outside display.

The dreamer series consists of different gourd sculpted animals with recesses or areas where I paint their dreams - be it imagined, aspirations, trials, or real dreams come true. This fish is part of a series (sold separately) of fish in differing strange biomes. 

This sculpture measures 11.75" tall, 15" wide, and 13.5" long.
